Oldman, I looked up as many examples of the Talo series that I could find, but didn’t see any with the partial underlug.
Found one example on GB with 7” full underlug in picture attached.
BTW....I did end up purchasing the one in my original post and the owner said he did not have it modified.
Still interested to hear more about this variation if someone has seen it.
