Saw this one the other day:

“I just got kicked off of an international sports forum. The question was; who won the first Tour de France. They didn’t like my answer ‘the 2nd SS Panzer Division’”.

Reminded me of this:

Picasso was particularly harassed by the Gestapo, the Nazi secret police. On one occasion, while the Nazis searched his apartment, a Gestapo officer saw a photograph of one of Picasso’s most famous works, Guernica. The 1937 painting depicts the bombing of Guernica, a city in Spain attacked by the German and Italian fascists at the direction of Francisco Franco and the Spanish nationalists. When the Gestapo officer spotted the photograph, he asked Picasso, “Did you do that?” only to receive the artist’s answer: “No, you did.”

Presumably the officer was in a good mood (or secretly liked Picasso's work) or he would have been done for.

Meanwhile, inside the box...

Being awake at an unreasonable hour and reading a review in The Guardian of a book on quantum physics by the Italian theoretical physicist, Carlo Rovelli, there was this brief exchange in the Comments section:

- How is Schroedinger's cat?
- Hard to say . . .

I'd like a t-shirt with that on it :)

(Don't worry- I don't "do" quantum physics in my spare time. Not even at 3am.)
