Every time I take mine to the range, I think “Wow! I love this gun! Why don’t I shoot it more often?”

Mine is also a 6” that I’ve shot loads as light as 90gr @ 630 fps and as heavy as 100gr going 1,300 fps. The best power and accuracy load in mine is 11.0 grs of LilGun yielding 1,230 fps with a Hornady 100 gr XTP bullet and giving me an average of 1.81” groups at 25 yards. That load data comes from the Hodgdon manual.

Briefly, I thought about reaming it to 327 but it gives me everything that I want as it is. If I want more power, I’ll just bring out the 327 mag Ruger SP-101 or talk Green Frog out of his project 616 gun!
