The gun has a BO-MAR rib and a 4 inch barrel instead of the typical 6 inch barrel. It is also is chambered in .357 magnum instead of .38 spl. The action is smooth but not too light and very crisp. I added the Farrant stocks I had in the woodpile waiting for the right gun.

The 4" ribs are getting pretty rare. They were marketed to newer officers looking to get into PPC shooting with their issued revolvers, and with the easy to remove screws, they could put them on for a match, then take them off for duty use.
Many officers stopped there, but more than a few got serious and had custom PPC revolvers built later.
