I would and do feel well armed with my 10s, pre 10s, 12s, 36s etc etc, any 38 special is all I need, I even carry my 32 s&w long regulation police models from time to time.
The chances of needing any of them is very small and I hope I never have to use one in a defensive situation, but I would rather have any of them than none.
Plus, the armadillos in Oklahoma don't care about the laws!
