The golden eagle indicates that this is a German proofmark. The "N" stands for "Normal load". As there are multiple proofhouses in Germany each of them has got its own mark - your revolver absolved the mandatory proofhouse-procedure in Ulm (a city in Baden-Wuerttemberg) in 1973 which uses the deer head as their specific mark.
