I once had a 4 and 7 year old in tow....... a model 10 is about as good as it gets in a revolver ........... and with two boys in tow.... your only job is to get you and them "Out of Dodge"..

For general use a 4" is better than a 2"; except for concealed carry..... and a 3" is damn near perfect!

Would advise you get a couple of speedloaders (I like Safariland Comp IIs) and Safariland split-six mag pouches...... or some Speed Strips.
