I live in a rural area, but close to the "big city". We are absolutely plagued by feral cats. Most likely the spawn of "dumped" cats by the inconsiderate city folks that decided they didn't really need their cat. However, I raise chickens, rabbits, quail, call ducks and etc., and the cats can be a problem. My son has dubbed my Winchester 1890 22 short pump the "Cat-Whacker 2000".
