Don't be discouraged. It is easily done if you decide to learn it. Double action revolvers were made to be shot double action. Focus on the sights (or the target, if you are point shooting) and squeeze and don't worry about when the gun goes off. You'd be surprised how good you get after just a box or two of slow, deliberate practice.
