New Jersey Senator introduces ANOTHER gun control bill
Senator Lautenberg introduces new gun-control measure
Looks like we're getting another Christmas gift from the anti-gun Democrats. Time to write your Senators - again.

The only reason Lousyburg is in congress is the demos in NJ found that is doesn't mean is. The other guy who was running at the time got spanked for illegal everything and was about to loose. The lawyers said that the law said the party could replace someone up till a certain date. They concluded that since it didn't say what could happen after that date that they could put up someone to replace the first crook. And the demo's appointed courts said - yeah what he said.
They figure he's gonna die, so they're trying to put thru a lame duck law that says the gov's got to appoint a member of the party of the senator who's leaving for whatever reason. BS and then some.
Just be glad you don't live out here.
As I read somewhere once - go west young man. I guess that's good advice for some of us old frts too.

As a career civil servant it is clear to me that the only solution is to move out of this state. Forever politicians do not listen to the opposition when the sheep keep electing them. Color me outa here the day I retire. Truly we live in the Peoples Republic of NJ. Join the NRA now!

I lived in NJ from 1960 - 2002. The state has gone insane. When we came back from VA, there was no way I could move back there and now live just across the border in PA.
Maybe a Republican (just barely) new Governor will help turn the tide, but I doubt it.
Come on over to the friendlier side of the Delaware River.
And PS - PA doesn't tax your pension.

I don't think Lautenberg was expected to last this long, now with a Rep. Gov. (rino that he may be) soon to take office, old Frank can be expected to step-down, Question? Will he go without a fight?

Sen L stayed in office so that the Dem's could use his incumbent power to get him elected and then appoint, without an election, his replacement. Then the "heir" would also get incumbent power. NJ residents are like sheep. They continue to pull the lever for whatever warm body is there. He is just another liberal that cant wait till NO citizen can lawfully have a firearm. Its time for term limits and you'll see that the gun control legislation will actually follow what us citizens want!
