Default FOR MASSACHUSETTS RESIDENTS

Move away from your reloading press and put down your gun oil. Let's all take a few minutes and do this. It's the most important piece of pro-gun legislation ever in MA. Don't let it die!

PLEASE go to this website and request prompt passage of H.01568 AN ACT RELATIVE TO CIVIL RIGHTS AND PUBLIC SAFETY. Then contact your own senator and representative and request passage. PLEASE pass this message on. Let's do this!

You have to search the bill number, here is the beginning:

SECTION 1. Section 121 of chapter 140 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2008 Official Edition, is hereby amended by deleting the section in its entirety and replacing it with the following:-

Section 121. No county, municipality, township or other community entity within the Commonwealth of Massachusetts may enact, pass or enforce any law, ordinance or regulation concerning the lawful ownership, use, possession, transfer, purchase, receipt or transportation of firearms, antique firearms, ammunition or ammunition components.

The right to keep and bear arms as an individual civil right shall be presumed to exist in all matters regarding the ownership, use, possession, transfer, purchase, receipt or transportation of firearms, antique firearms, ammunition or ammunition components unless expressly prohibited by the laws of this Commonwealth.

I have never been to MA so I need some person there to answer a question for me.

In the last three days, I have read gun publications that mentioned buying reloading supplies or ammo was all but impossible there. Never heard of this before. Why would ammo be difficult to buy?

So is there a problem in buying ammo or reloading supplies there?

Default MASSACHUSETTS

The only problem that I have experienced in purchasing those items is scarcity and price.

Basically the way it works, if there is a ammo shortage nationwide than off course we are included.

But I seem to be able to purchase my ammo without any problems. Most of the gun stores seem to have a large supply at this moment.

We also can make a short trip up to NH and purchase ammo.

We cannot buy ammo on line, no one will ship it to MA, although some say they can buy online, I am not that someone.

I don't reload, but I think many do in MA and probably purchase their supplies locally.

I would say the Gun Rag you are referring to really is not well versed when it comes to MA.

We do have some very complicated Gun Laws, similar to California which I don't care to discuss, gives me a migraine

Bottom line, we can buy ammo and reloading supplies locally in Massachusetts.
