A VERY slimy, dangerous anti-2nd A, changing a view just to get elected.
You all--especially here in Texas need to take heed on this. The worst enemy of the 2nd Amendment here in Texas, has announced she has changed er stance on the 2nd Amendment and guns. She has? BULL**** This politician--wendy davis, is proving the lengths to go through JUST to get elected. This person is IMO==the most dangerous kind to run for office. Im voting for Gregg Abbott.
PS, sorry to upper management if this is too political--but it has a direct thing to do with the 2nd A

I sent my support to Gregg in an email. Though davis denies it--she allowed an ad to be placed in her name and approval--that knocked Abbott because he is handicapped and stuck in a wheelchair.

Im actually thinking of erecting a sigh and citing her two-faced opinions on it. Something to the tune of "Honk your horn kinda thing." If I do do this? ill probably picket on Staples and SPID--the busiest intersection in town. I might even go so far as collecting donations for his election.

People need to go by their past record not what they speak, with like the naïve Americans use to say "speak with a forked tongue"
Their politicians they say what they want you to hear to get elected, then do what they want.

A politician who changes a position in order to win votes in an election? Why does that surprise anyone? I can think of several who have stated two different positions on one issue to two different audiences on the same day, and no one bothers to challenge them on it.
So, a politician, a lawyer, a habitual liar, and a community organizer walk into a bar. What does the bartender say?

This woman is a piece of work. I remember when she was on the Fort Worth city council and big-time anti-gun. She tried to kick gun shows off of city property and close the so-called “gun show loophole.” Davis’ efforts on the Fort Worth council failed. She received a failing grade from the NRA.

Shes done that so many times but she knows this time is different because, if she stayed anti on this? she knows she has no chance of winning. However, Im wondering why she thinks and pro 2nd person would suddenly switch their vote to vote for her? To me this means that she doesnt live in a Real World and is a sandwich short of a picnic.

I do believe she will not win and im going to do my part to spread the word against her. One of Her problems is, is she only wants power and at any cost (to others) stepping on anyone she can in the process. I never heard of her till her ""historic filibuster"" against the gov earlier last year.

It also just came out she was a republican before being elected to her current office. She saw an opportunity to be elected as a Dem and it worked for her. I trust her with my 2nd amend rights about as much as trust my dog around an unattended filet.

Thats exactly what I mean and well said. I noticed she has waltzed through Corpus 3 times in about 2 months trying to play up to the Hispanic population here--only--many of them cant stand her either. :-)) Trouble is, diehard uninformed--will vote for her anyway--I know one here that is that way. No matter how many facts you give to her-she sets her jaw and refuses to listen.

Sad to hear that Texas seems to going the way of Cali.
NY, and some of the other "anti states". With Houston, Dallas
and other major Metropolitan areas it was bound to happen.
If you would have told me 20 years ago that Texas would be
passing anything against the 2nd i would have laughed in
your face.
Sad, sad day.
Chuck

We left Texas just because we couldn't stand the sound of her voice. Well not really, but how she managed to get elected in Tarrant is beyond belief.

I cant quote Sarge Bill on how she managed to be elected-as its quite graphic but quite funny and im sure quite true too but, apparently she will do anything to get a vote.
Good thing here at todays gun show--is I heard many people talking about her and none of the talk--she would appreciate. :-)) Glad to see many here are informed about her and not just me.

The only thing she represents--is her own self and ambitions.

All of you should read this:

Ideally, we should see nothing here that does not pertain directly to protection of or expansion of 2nd Amendment RIGHTS.
That means this forum is about LEGISLATION and responses from legislators or the actions of legislators or about carry permit laws and issues.

5. Do NOT even think about implying, wishing, or stating ANY kind of harm or misfortune should befall ANY elected government official.
If you want to talk to the Secret Service, just call them up and leave me out of the middle.
6. Derogatory, Flippant, or Crude names for any government official will NOT be tolerated.
Respect the OFFICE, if not the holder.
That means the President of the United States will be referred to as the President, or by the accepted usage of his last name or initials- 'Obama' or 'BHO'. Other government officials will be afforded the same courtesy.

So, YES, we will have alerts on politicians, BUT remember that we are Single Issue in the political arena-
the 2A ONLY.
We will not be discussing how they voted on abortion, gay rights, Obamacare, the budget, dog licenses, or broccoli.

OK, the news is out.
There is nothing else to say about the topic.
If a pro-2A candidate runs, post the news.
