When I read the title to this thread my first thought was that the Mods would never allow that sort of language here.

What the NY government really wanted to do to us!
Unfortunately I am in a position of being abused by by these laws for now, but I have been talking to my wife and she is on board with leaving as soon as we are able to.
I wish we would see more pro 2nd amendment ads from manufactures, suppliers, vendors, NRA, on main stream TV in prime time. Not bashing the lefties, but educating the fearful public. Youtube, Facebook and forums help but are just not enough. It's like preaching to the choir IMO...

This really shows what their agenda really is . They wont total gun bans and the gun grabbers are out full force. We must not give a inch to these would be dictators.

Honestly, I almost wish NY had gone ahead with their ultimate goal - confiscation. This constant incremental-ism is wearing people down (as they intend it to do). Once they decide to kick a few doors on decent, honest citizens that have done nothing wrong but were declared criminals by extremist politicians, its game on and they know it. They don't have the resources to confiscate firearms if even a small percentage of gun owners decide they aren't going to have their rights taken away.
States like NY and Kali are testbeds to gauge reaction to draconian gun laws. The outcry was heard loud and clear in Washington, so now they'll commit to more propaganda and demonization of gun owners and try again after the next evil whack job their immoral utopia keeps producing kills more innocent people.
We all need to use every ounce of grass roots influence we can muster to get the truth out. Take a new shooter out, write letters/emails, speak the truth to anyone that will listen, sign up an new NRA member. The 2014 election is key. We need to get busy now.
