I read through the MI laws while trying to find out about gifting and was pleasantly surprised to find that MI clearly upholds and defends the Second Amendment and that Firearms cannot be confiscated in times of civil unrest...
I'd suggest everyone know their state laws as most situations, including brandishing, what constitutes a gun free zone, entertainment facility, etc are addressed in this document.
Interesting to note that grade schools are supposed to be offered state firearms training programs and that public service announcements supporting gun safety are also a responsibility of the state.
It might be an advantage and an asset for this site to have each state's laws on separate locked threads for education and research.
