CONCEALED CARRY ON CAMPUS
concealed carry on public universities and colleges has passed the Texas Senate and now moves on to the House. As before, it passed 20-11, strictly along party lines.
That makes 3 very strong pro gun bills sitting in the Texas House awaiting passage.

I've been following this hurdle more than the Open Carry Bills.
For anyone who hasn't actually read the Bill, this would only apply to Non-Private Colleges/Universities.
According to this Bill, Private institutions could still ban gun carry, which is fine by me. I'd treat this like any store flying a Gun Busters sign...
'You don't want my 4.0 GPA 21y/o, who has a CHL, to carry on your campus? You must not want my money.'
Easy as that.

I'm watching this one closely as well.....
My son chairs the Ag department at a North Texas College.
We all know...."When sane folks carry firearms, the insane get off few shots!"
