Default WA State Democrat legislation assault

Anti-gun lawmaker's propose open season on citizens, as anti-gun measures threatens Washingtonians' guns right's, and public safety with: HB 2460 - 2015-16 removing right of self defense by creating more gun free zones, watering down and creates a pathway to repeal state preemption. HB 2354 - 2015-16 bans citizens from owning sporting rifles and HI CAP mags. HB 1857 - 2015-16 legalizes the violation of your 4th amendment rights. HB 1747 - 2015-16 creates redundant negligent and child endangerment laws, simply to demonize firearms. HB 2374 - 2015-16 tax on ammo, with a nasty lie about ammo and gun violence. http://apps.leg.wa.gov/billinfo/summ...2016&bill=2461 Eliminates due process for lawful gun owners; seizure of property! http://apps.leg.wa.gov/billinfo/summ...2016&bill=2372 more seizure, and destruction, and lost revenues to fight real crime. In waiting is HB 2836 forcing liability insurance upon the responsible.

Bills expand government infringements upon our 2nd and 4th amendment rights, and Article I, Section 24 of our state constitution, and state preemption. They're designed to further place undue burden on the law-abiding, and to further ignore the real issue of crime. These measures are designed with intent to victimize others by false claim, strip individuals of constitutional rights, invite more criminals and emerging terrorists into our lives by disarming more American's, and make lawful gun owners out as evil people. These lawmakers are the solders of the Bloomberg's, Hillary's, and Obama's, we can tell by their mimicking rhetoric, and insults like that of Gov Inslee calling lawful citizens of Washington State a "Destructive Force".

I see much of the same hitting other states, big money is driviing these state by state. What happened to support and defend the Constitution these lawmakers took? It seems taking money from the rich anti-gun groups has taking priority.

Let as many of your state rep`s as possible know about the dangers of these laws. Write in your newspapers to enlighten and encourage others to oppose them.
You know Bloomberg is at the bottom of all of this. Expose him.
Everytown, has nothing to do with gun safety. We know this, I hope your voices are heard.
You can bet the penalties these bills impose need to be told to your fellow gun owners.
An insurance bill on guns in commitee here in NH imposes a $10,000 fine for non compliance.
Best of luck but fight hard and never give up.

Everyone in WA needs to read these bills, hit the comments tab at the top, vote and leave a comment. Your vote and comment goes to your legislators so they know what the political landscape looks like in their district.

Thanks for the heads up.

I received this from my representative after I used the state's website to express my feelings about that bill.

to me
Hello James and thanks for contacting me regarding HB2354 which would ban “assault weapons” and large capacity magazines. I do not and will not support this proposal as it does nothing to effectively promote public safety or prevent crimes of violence. I have a well-established history of supporting the 2nd Amendment and gun rights for law abiding citizens and have opposed similar proposals in the past.

I want to point out that we are entering an election year, it’s an unfortunate fact that bills will be proposed this year that appeal to certain voter bases, this is one of those bills. Additionally, this bill and the matter of gun rights speaks to legislators on both sides of the political aisle. With those statements in mind, I will be surprised to see it come to the Floor of the House of Representatives for a vote of the full House. But if it does, it will not receive my support and I will actively argue against the proposal.

Thanks again for reaching out to me, I hope you continue to do so in the future if you have questions or concerns regarding legislation or state operations.

Sincerely,

-Dave

To all of you who wrote your law makers: KUDOS!

Turn up the heat, stoke the fire, let them know what you think!

Let's get some informed sanity back into state legislators' thought processes.
