Default Michigan Constitutional Carry Bill

If you’ve taken action in support of Michigan’s Constitutional Carry bill package – thank you!

But what happens next could determine the success or failure of this monumental pro-gun legislation.

The GLGR-endorsed Constitutional Carry bill package (HB 5301-5304) is currently stalled in the House Judiciary Committee for almost two months now.

Despite your calls and emails of encouragement, Chairman Klint Kesto still hasn’t brought it up for a vote in committee.

It’s time to call and get House leadership involved.

Please contact House Speaker Kevin Cotter and respectfully urge him to make Constitutional Carry (HB 5301-5304) his top priority for a hearing and vote.

Here’s his contact information:

Speaker Kevin Cotter

It’s imperative that this pro-gun legislation be brought up for a vote.

Don’t underestimate the tremendous power leadership wields when it comes to legislation.

They can either make it a priority, or bury it in committee where it will never see the light of day.

If passed Constitutional Carry will restore the rights of all law-abiding Michiganders to carry a firearm to protect themselves and their families without having to beg the government for permission.

Within the last year, five other states passed this monumental pro-gun reform.

Yet Michigan is in the back of the pack with states like Illinois when we should be blazing the trail in passing Constitutional Carry.

In just the last six months Michigan gun owners have shown overwhelming support for Constitutional Carry.

So, please contact House Speaker Kevin Cotter and respectfully urge him to make sure Constitutional Carry (HB 5301-5304) is brought up for a hearing and vote.

And if you haven’t yet, please sign your “Support Constitutional Carry in Michigan” petition to send a loud and clear message to your state legislators.

That’s why your action is vital during this critical time.

Please take action today!

For Freedom,

Brenden Boudreau
Chairman

I would think doing away with Michigan's handgun registration should be a higher priority.
