UPDATE 6.3.20
On June 1, 2020, the New Jersey "May Issue" case, and the nine other Second Second Amendment Petitions pending before the Supreme Court, were pushed again, this time to the Conference of June 4, 2020. The last Conference before the Summer Recess is June 25 and the last announcement on Petitions before the Summer Recess is probably June 29.

reality's
even if it is heard + ruled on favorably it will have no effect on NJ law for many years - any change will have to come on a state level to have any effective change ! - from Florida in 1967 till now any changes in right to carry laws have come about on a state level + never thru federal intervention or mandate -

It is apparent that the SC made a de facto ruling with their “non-decision” that the states have the Unlimited right to regulate the “How” of the 2A. And the “How” can regulate the 2A out of existence.
I am extremely disappointed by actions of this supposedly conservative court.
Edit: I wonder if Sen Whitehouse (D-N.Y.) got to Roberts and some of the other Justices with his threats to pack the Court if they didn’t tow the “D“ line on gun rights.

Wimps. Threat of packing the Court is moot as long as R's hold the Senate, and will happen anyway if the D's take control.
Roberts is an accomodationist weenie.

POI. Whitehouse is from RI. Schumer is from NY and has a long-standing habit of making comments such as those.
