Here is an unusual Model 586 7-shot PC revolver. It was briefly the subject of an earlier post, after which I purchased it through an auction. It differs from the 586 L Comp as follows.

It is not cut for moonclips, the front sight is a red ramp (as opposed to a tritium front sight), the cylinder is unfluted, the Product Code is 178004, the grips are as shown (as opposed to Altamont boot grips) and numbered by laser-cut numerals to the revolver, the case is a blue plastic case with the S&W Performance Center logo on the outside lid. It is serial numbered RCS000X.

Has anyone else seen one of these or have further information?
