At a gun show two weeks ago and picked up a Model 29-2, 4"bbl in nickel for $475.00 out the door. The nickel had a few scratches on it, but nothing that can't be polished out with Flitz or Mothers. Grips appear to be original with no box or papers. Action is tight with no endshake, pushoff, etc.

I was thinking I did OK, but suddenly I see all these postings regarding nickel model 29's with a higher value than I would have expected.

So what's up with the value of the nickel model 29-2's when compared to the blue ones, and how much are these going for right now?
