Picked up a 80% condition S&W Model 20 38/44 Heavy duty today SN# 155XXX (dates to 1957-58?), barrel is cut down to a 4 inch, barrel stamps start and end about 3/4" from the muzzel, Front sight has been ground on, has cokes on it, is a very tight revolver, great lockup, butter smooth action.

Any idea of it's value in current condition?, Should I consider having it rebarreled in a longer barrel?
