I am trying to create 44Special-powered loads for my Marlin lever rifle and Ruger Bisley, but still using my 44Magnum brass (for accuracy and feeding). My reloading manuals say to use 17.5 grains of 2400 or 11 grains of 800X as the starting load. This is certainly less powerful than the loads I'm used to making, but it still seem a lot more powerful than 44 Specials I am used to. I won't use any of my reloading manual's 44 Special loads because they were designed for 44Special brass which is shorter than the magnum brass. Are there any loads out there you recommend, or any websites I might go to to find out? Thanks.

I have 2400, 800X, and Bullseye powder to work with right now.
