I carry a Model 37 with factory bobbed hammer as well as a Model 36 that someone bobbed the hammer. I also have a Model 49 that doesn't get carried much as it's in such nice condition.
I like them all and carry in an Uncle Mikes pocket holster mainly. No hammers to be concerned about snagging and I know all are DAO.
Might be a cheaper route for your Model 37 and you could buy a second hammer and keep your original if you should decide to change it back.
