I voted to debate the question. But I agree with the "shoot it" group. I have an extremely low milage 27-2 8 3/8' with box and used tools. I have shot it but it mainly lurks in the safe as I have other 357s to take care of the heavy shoot. That said if there was not visible turn line I would really hesitate to shoot it. How's that for walking both sides of the street.
