That is another advantage of the Lasermax for J frames. The laser is attached to the pistol by two separate screws, so if you are just changing batteries, the alignment stays the same. I am sure if you removed the entire unit you would have to re-calibrate it.

When I get 'um on they ain't comin' off. It would be my luck for the dog to chew on 'um or something... pesky little runt early warning barking system for the much bigger "what the hell you doin' in my house" Rotty.
I will be interested to see how they work with the Desanti pocket carry I use. I'm still looking for a utilitarian IWB ambidextrous holster (realy ain't no money for that now... maybe next bonus check).
