+ everything on keeping something you dad passed down. My dad didn't give me anything but bad memories, but my grandfather, I have his Weatherby 243 Vanguard, one of the early ones when they started the Vanguard line....might only book at a few hundred, but i wouldn't trade it for any combination of Win 70s or HD pre-wars...

go out and shoot some and that might change your mind...especially having a wheel gun to balance out the auto...

if you do sell it, in Fort Worth I saw a really pristine used M19 for $410 at a shop...no box or papers
