I custom refinish and restore Smith & Wesson stocks both pre and post war. Stocks are furniture for your gun. If you have a bad pair of stocks on a nice gun the nice gun doesn't look so great. When you send your stocks to me they will be totally humiliated, degraded and than made to look beautiful. If you want the very best, this is it.
I will on occasion do later model grips if I have the time. I quote every job IN HAND ONLY. Photos don't cut it.
I guarantee all my work 100%. No questions asked. All work is discussed with the customer before hand. There are no surprises. Except maybe yours when you get them back. I use only oil finishes. Polycrap is not in my vocabulary. I DO NOT USE EPOXY in my repairs. It's real wood.
My email is in my profile. Please use the forum email for contact. I will not answer private emails. This keeps everybody honest.
Medallion re-nickling is available. This can be done without removal or refinish.
I also offer stocks for sale.
If you have something for sale, let me know.
All prices include priority shipping.
If there is something that you need I have a wood pile to die for. If not I can probably find it.
There is nothing to lose when you buy my stocks. If you don't like it, you get your money back. It doesn't get any easier than that.
One other thing. I can be slower than molasses on a tin roof in January.

Please note: Refinish and restore are two different words and do not mean the same thing.

This is a pair that were restored. I have to start taking before pictures.:)

Newest restoration. Non relieved Cokes. I feel very honored to have been chosen to do these historical stocks.

The grips are stunning, quality work. They came in this afternoon and I have already put them back on the 1965 29-2 they came on. I was going to post pics immediately, but the doggone daughter absconded with my camera. Maybe tomorrow.
Thank you so much for your commitment to excellence.
Greg

Works in progress.:):)
