Good Friday morning!

I'm out of compact frame tools and FDE full sized lanyard tools. The lanyard tools are on the way from S&W - should be 2 weeks. The compact frame tools are back ordered.

Looks like shipping from S&W is taking twice as long as normal. They are usually pretty slow to ship....now I am looking at 2-3 weeks from order to delivery. I try to get my orders in early - but demand is crazy sometimes!

I do NOT have any C.O.R.E. parts. If anyone wants to send me an extra grip - would love to try my stippling on it. Just let me know!

Got word today that compact frame tools are enroute to me from S&W. Should be 2 weeks until I get them back in stock!

I'm getting ready to start extended 12 hour midnight shifts for work. Sequestration affects all of us in the military differently - and my HQ is mainly made up of Dept of Army civilians!

Soooo, my processing/shipping time will go from 1-2 days to 3-4 days effective 24MAR13. This will last until I either get back to normal days (Sequestration is over). Thank you for your understanding!

COMPACT FRAME TOOLS ARE IN STOCK! Whew, that took awhile. There is simply no way to know what will remain out of stock with S&W...so I try to keep plenty (demand supported of course) of items on hand.

Received a couple notes concerning the new C.O.R.E. and Pro Series grips. S&W isn't selling these to the general public yet...I have 1-2 of them that I am playing with...but they have a pretty good stipple job on them as it is. Will advise if I decide to stipple them.

RECEIVED SOME FDE FULL SIZED LANYARD FRAME TOOLS TODAY. First ones since JAN13.

Upcoming Changes for the Spring/Summer:

1. I'm prepping some grips with different shades of Aluma Hyde II paint. I'm going to offer a very affordable selection of colors only for the summer. More information to follow. Right now I have OD Green, Earth Brown, and Stainless Steel Grey on hand and Tan and Parkerized Dark Grey on order from Brownels. Pricing/time to make is forthcoming. I may start carrying the S&W factory-provided pink pads as a full-time option. Price will be higher on those - $20 instead of $15 since they cost 3x the normal pads. We will see.

2. I'm going to begin carrying low capacity magazine basepads for some of our brothers/sisters living in states with these requirements. Feel bad saying no to y'all...so I will adjust my stock to reflect your reality. More to come. Right now I am carrying the compact low cap base pads.

3. I'm going to begin carrying orange full sized base pads. I've been approached several times to stipples customer's training magazine basepads - didn't even know they have orange, plastic pads! Speed Shooter Specialties carries them - I will as well.

Once these changes come to fruition, I will adjust my sales sheets and notifications. The focus is for this spring/summer - gotta have some fun with our guns...we have earned it!!!

Streakpi, I was just searching around on the internet for Stippled backstraps for my M&P 9mm and I found this forum and your posts. I would much rather give the business to a small business owner like yourself than from a mainstream company/website. I saw some of your pictures and was wondering if you have added any new colors and if I could still get the medium sized backstrap with those circle stipples still?

Is there a website I can go to, for the prices, or just the images you have posted in this forum?

What is not to like?

We are halfway through the summer - another couple of months painting my stippled items...then the spray cans go away. The only two colors which seem to sell are the OD Green and the Dark Gray. Sure, I get an occasional request for Stainless Steel....but the other cans have dust on them. Come and get them while you can!!!

Here is my Dark Gray set...freshly painted for a new gun:

I will STOP selling painted (Aluma Hyde II) parts for the M&Ps effective 01SEP13. It is getting cooler here in Illinois (should be in the high 90s...but it has maintained 70s-80s most of the month!) and the paint simply isn't curing as quickly as I expected. The painting was a seasonal effort.

Remember, the turn around time is one week from ordering. Biggest sellers (95% between the two) is the Dark Gray and the OD Green.

I am now based in Kentucky - got away from Illinois!

S&W is closed again for the holidays. Unfortunately, I have not received anything from them since this past summer. My vendors continue to have bare shelves…but I get parts from them every blue moon. I will keep my "out-of-stock" list updated every chance I get. Best thing to do is contact me and ask if I have something on hand. Sorry for the hassle…it is what it is.

I will be stippling until 11JAN14 - after that I will only stipple on weekends…and will eventually taper down to nothing as I will deploy this early spring. So, get your items sooner or later…
