I just bought a bookoo load (well I think its a bookoo load) of older S&W parts. Am going through the boxes now and will list other items as I think they could be put to good use by forum members.

Anyhoo, at the moment I am offering 6 (six) early Mdl.36 forged flat cylinder latch releases. All appear new w/ original finish (kinda flat blue, w/ almost a hint of case hardening, sorry camera is on the fritz or I'd post pics now, but I can supply pics if needed per request and will try to get them posted here soon). $22 each shipped

CORRECTION - Also have 1 (one) 60's -80's vintage like new aluminum FLUTED handle sight screwdriver. $80 shipped

Wouldn't a "60's-80's vintage" screwdriver have a fluted handle? Never saw a knurled screwdriver come with a gun from those vintages.

jinx, will check on the mdl.36 side plate screws for you. I believe there are some. Which ones did you need, the standard securing or the crane tension? LMK and I will get back to you.

rboineau, you are correct sir. I was staring at the differnt screwdrivers in front of me and had a momentary lapse of reason which transfered to my fingers while I was typing. I have corrected the above post to reflect the proper description. It should have been fluted. My bad.
