Contender barrels for sale "price drop"
Have 2 for sale, prices are shipped. One is a 12" hunter .357 max with a factory muzzle brake and a base and rings. Not many hunter barrels were made. Nice shooting barrel with 180 gr Hornady XTP's. The energy at 100 yds is about the same as a 44 mag at the muzzle. Have brass and bullets available also. Blue wear in the normal places from the frame on one side. Shipped with the original box with the rings off and included in the package to the buyer. Can load pointed single shot bullets in this caliber.
The 2nd one is a 10" in .223 Rem. with a 3X Lobo scope. One small flaw on the rt side of the bbl by the sight. Otherwise it has normal frame and forend marks and over all nice. Use your ammo slower then a AR15 in a fun bbl. Hand loading makes this a tack driver at reduced speeds. Shown mounted on the frame.
Looking for 275.00 shipped per barrel. Would consider a .32 magnum barrel as trade, need both sights on it-Not a scope mount.
First "I'll take it" right here in front of everyone with a PM gets either.
Will take Pay Pal if you add 3%. Thanks for looking, Larry SWCA 1761

Price cut to 250.00 shipped per barrel. I have 165 pieces of brass. 100 new and the other is once fired. I'll stick 50 of the new with either bbl for 25.00 extra. Also have about 85 Hornady 35 cal.358 180 gr spire point bullets to sell also. Larry

Is the .357 Max drilled and tapped for a front sight?

No, its not set up for a front sight. As hard as this caliber hits a 100 yds and beyond, I guess the scope will help ensure a hit. Check reloading data for the 357 max with lighter bullets, they are extremely fast out of the bbl. Its a cool caliber, I don't have the place to shoot it anymore and quit deer hunting. The break helps to tame the recoil. Larry
