SPF to snake803 FS: Feather-Crotch CUSTOM N Frame Square Butt Grips:
The first is a set that I got from a fellow S&WCA member who told me that they were made by Schofield Kid. They are probably the most beautiful set of custom grips I have ever seen. To my hand, [Edit here] they feel very much like the older smooth target square butt grips with the football cut out, but I would have to say that the shelf area is more pronounced and that the cut out area is larger. They feel like Fishpaw's, but different in a very pleasing and hard to describe way. Also, I have learned that they are made of "feather-crotch walnut."

The following two pairs are custom presentation grade Blu Magnum Skeeter Skelton style grips by Tedd Adamovich. These grips are for N frame square butt S&W revolvers. They are the Skeeter Skelton style that were originally designed for Skeeter by Deacon Deason of Bear Hug Grips fame. They are extremely comfortable to shoot with. I have larger than average hands, and was not a true believer until I got my first set and tried them on several N frames. The smaller more form fitting grips really do work. Both of these sets of grips fit nicely on my Pre-Model N frames as well as on the ones with model numbers.
Please note that the following two sets are for RIGHT handed shooters. The "shelf" area, the area just behind and under the trigger guard is angled slightly up and to the
right to favor the way a right handed shooter's fingers wrap around the grips. Also, the palm swell is slightly larger on the right side for the same reason.

NOTES: Remember that these are
CUSTOM grips that may require some minor fitting for your revolver. I have owned many sets of custom grips over the years and have only expected a perfect or near perfect fit on guns that I have shipped to the grip maker. All of these grips were made on a frame other than yours or mine and I have found them to fit very nicely on my Pre and numbered model N Frames. Minor variations in the frames occurred over the years. As such, while I want you to be happy with these custom grips, I do not find it reasonable to request a refund on these grips if a "16th or a 32nd" of an inch of light can be seen between the wood and the frame in a spot here or there. If you are that picky, please do not take them and please make note of that before posting that you will take them.
