WITHDRAWN Randall Model 1, 8-inch knife.
It has a forged tool steel blade that is in original unsharpened condition. The guard is nickel silver and the handle is stacked leather with an early 70's spacer stack. The leather has darkened some from age but is in wonderful condition. Duralumin butt cap with domed tang nut. Overall condition of the knife is Excellent+.
The leather sheath is a "Rough back" Maurice Johnson model with tight stitching and baby dot snaps. It has the Randall stamp on the back with the numbers 1 and 8. It has a stone pouch containing a grey unmarked stone. The stone has some green tarnish on it from storage. There is a small crease or dent on the front of the sheath near the bottom and a tiny dent on the stone pouch snap; but over all condition is very good.
The Randall catalog is original, not a reproduction, and features all their models and includes a blue order form insert which has a 1973 stamp on it. I believe Randall would print the catalogs during specific years and then stamp the form and the back of the catalog to determine year it was mailed. There is some tarnish on the staples, but the pages are all there with no "dog ears". Overall excellent condition. You get the knife, sheath and catalog pictured here, all for one price. Classic model configuration at 40+ years old, and a great piece for your collection!
