I have up for sale four NIB SIG (Wilson Combat) stainless 9 round .40 S&W 1911 mags.
The label does say “8 round” however these are definitely 9 round mags.
Prior to going to Wilson Combat as the magazine supplier for their .40 S&W magazines SIG used Checkmate mags and those were 8 round mags. (Two of the 8 round Checkmate mags came with my SIG Stainless Match Elite 1911 .40 S&W.)
I suspect that SIG is still using up the boxes they had for the Checkmate mags.
I run two of these Wilson Combat mags in my SIG Stainless Match Elite 1911 .40 S&W and they hold 9 rounds and function flawlessly.
(Pictures of mags out of box are of my magazines. Mags being offered for sale are new and have never been in a gun.)
