The way I talk, most folks think I probably can't read.
That wouldn't be a problem with this book anyway. The 1400 high quality photographs of stunning engraved guns are enough to keep a caveman entertained for many hours.
Actually, I'm a bibliophile. For a few years in the 1980s and 90s, I made a living dealing in rare and out of print books about guns and hunting. This is a must have book for several classes of collectors, including bibliophiles, S&W collectors, fans of engraved guns in general, and anyone interested in the engraver's art.
The Deluxe Leather bound editions sold out almost immediately upon being offered.
The author tells me the first printing was 4000 volumes. They are already anticipating a second printing. If you are not a bibliophile, you probably don't care about having a 1st Printing, but I advise you to care. 1st Printings are ALWAYS desirable and will be the sought after collectible of this volume after the Deluxe edition.
