This is the 3rd set of Ropers ever made by Keith, as verified recently by Keith. They fit a Square Butt N-Frame (postwar). The box says English Walnut, but it looks more like French, or Circassian or similar to me. They are in beautiful shape. I've long wanted a set, and bought these from a forum member. It turns out that they fit a medium to large hand and have a palm swell. I have a small-to-medium hand. I would like to trade for a slimmer set of Keith's Ropers. Any collector need this very early set? Alternately, two sets of smooth, fancy walnut Herrett's non-relieved Ropers could work for me in trade. Please see the pictures. Best wishes.
