This is all original, not a refinish job. The royal blue flocking is just as nice as it was the day it left S&W, and there are no cracks or gouges in the molded plastic inserts. It even has the yellow plastic lift strap. The exterior wood finish is flawless, as are the hinges and clasp.

It would be impossible to improve on this complete package. If you have a nice 6 1/2” model 29 this presentation box is the perfect upgrade for your collection (or to start one).
