Default Wolf 357 jhp ammo

Has anyone had any experience with this ammo? Is it any good? Just curious if anyone has used it. How powerful is it really? Any response would be appreciated.

Wolf is generally considered inexpensive practice ammo. It's usually pretty dirty, the velocities are not the highest nor are it's HP's the most dependable for expansion.

That said I haven't used that particular load but that's been the general run of experience with Wolf. Good for practice but not for defense.

Actually Wolf ammo quality is a mixed bag. It is imported ammunition from various manufaturers, some of its very good and other is as described by elcruiser.

he 9mm and .45 acp steel case is petty much as described but their .22 ammo is match grade made in Germany by S&S and is equal to any of the match ammo being sold by RWS, Eley, Federal and others. It used to be very inexpensive until how good it is caught on.

While I haven't shot any of the brass cased Wolf "gold" ammo, I'd suspect it to be very good stuff depending upon their source manufacturer.
