Default UMC 357m1b

I know the 357 magnum rounds from remington 357m1 are the full power magnums and the 357m11 are the medium power magnums. So where do the 357m1b rank. What is their velocity? Can anyone help out. (SJHP)

I wish I could help you with that, but have only tested the M12. They are a 125 grain JSP version and averaged 1427 fps from a M28 4".

If you're talking about the UMC 125 gr. SJHPs like one would buy at Wally World in 100 round bulk packs, they're as hot as the Express 125 gr. SJHPs (R357M1). They just don't use swanky nickel plated brass and flash suppressed powders.

Keep in mind that velocity should vary from lot to lot with either product since ammo makers load according to pressure not velocity.

The UMC 357 125 JSP is HOT. I have never had any problem with UMC being as good as Remington green and yellow. Just miss the nickel cases though.
