Default 38 s&w

A friend of mine just called to offer me a cheap deal on some .38 spl ammo he bought for a gun he recently inherited. Problem is, .38 spl won't fit in his gun because its a model 32-1 in 38 S&W caliber.

I'm a relative noob about this kind of thing, so I couldn't help him much (other than to buy his .38spl!). Can someone please tell me if 38 S&W is still in production? I searched gunbroker and all I found was antique looking ammo. I tried to search here, but didn't find anything either.

Thanks in advance.

Smile 38 S&W Ammo

If your friend has access to the internet I believe that Georgia Arms has what he is looking for. Your friend could also try his local gun shop if they don't have the S&W 38 he can also try the Old Scrounger.

Thanks. I'll take a look at GA Arms. Local shops don't seem to have any.

In stock at Midway:

Fiocchi Ammunition 38 S&W 145 Grain Full Metal Jacket Box of 50 - MidwayUSA

Handloading really is the way to go for the .38 S&W, but factory ammunition is out there.
