I just wanted to give my fellow forumites here in the midwest a heads up. I was at my local Meijer store yesterday and stopped to look at ammo on a hunch. They had plenty of Winchester 12 ga. 2 3/4" 1 oz. rifled (Foster) slugs (X12RS15) for $3.00 a box of five. I haven't seen them for less than $4.00 for quite some time, and I doubt I'll ever see them cheaper. Of course, I bought ten boxes. My Ithaca Deerslayer loves them.

They have those for $3.17 at the Wal-Mart by me almost all of the time.
Can't beat it for a nice 12 ga. slug.

Needless to say I am well stocked. Probably have more 12 ga. slugs than I will shot in my life time. Two 50 cal ammo cans full.
