.303 British Ammo
Hi:
Observed commercial .303 British ammo (20rd bx) at a gun show. Manufacter I never heard of. Forgot the name of the manufacter.
Any ideas?
Thank,
Jimmy

There are several companies that produce modern commerical .303 British ammo, including Federal, Remington, Winchester, Wolf, Prvi Partizan, Sellier & Bellot, and Hornady.

And commercial names from the past in that caliber are legion.
Including-Norma, Dominion, North Star etc., etc.
Can we buy a vowel?

Could it be Hot Shot?
I have bought some of that and it shot OK. A bitch to reload as the primers were almost impossible to get out. I ended up throwing that brass out.

I believe that in the '80s or '90s timeframe there was a company called "Hansen's" that sold a lot of military calibers. IIRC, it was just repackaged Prvi Partizan headstamped ammo.

You used to see a fair amount of over-run military contract stuff made by Winchester as well. Always in a generic white box.
