Does anyone manufacture .32 H&R Magnum ammunition in FMJ or TMJ? I have gone to seven (so far) manufacturers websites and can not find any listed. (I see JHP and cowboy loads, but NO FMJ or TMJ.) I’m not talking about finding actual ammunition to purchase. Just if anybody “makes” .32 H&R Magnum in FMJ or TMJ. So far the manufacturers I’ve looked up are: Federal Remington Winchester Black Hills Fiocchi Magtech Georgia Arms Anybody know of ANY? Thanks, JamesD

The ammo crunch can get them behind schedule but they make a great product.

I have never ran across loaded ammo but if you reload you should be able to use FMJ designed for the .32 auto.

LOBO - I live in Georgia! and have talked to the folks there. Plus, I hear good reports from others also. Plan to get some of their jhp WHEN the get the supplies to make some. BUT they produce only jhp, which still leaves me with my FMJ or TMJ QUESTION !?!?!?!?! SHERMBOB - I have been told by someone else that Federal makes it. But I have been to their website and see it listed nowhere that they make such a product. Do you have a product number for this "alleged" Federal round? HoosierMike - I have never reloaded. I know many do, but I was hoping I would not have to buy reloading equipment, study/learn all about reloading, etc. JamesD

I felt the same way at one time. It was a hassle studying up and creating a system to make my own ammo, but it has taught me a ton about small arms and ammo plus I can make the ammo that I want, not settle for what the ammo makers offer and for less money. Don't worry about the cost of reloading equipment. It will pay for itself. Also, I think it's easier and best to learn under the supervision of a skilled reloader. You'll find that revolver cartridges are a great place to start. They're easy to reload.

Thanks flop-shank.
It is still "plan B" for me. But maybe I could start thinking about it at least. Your comment about "learning under the supervision of a skilled reloader" would be a sine qua non for me. Could not imagine just reading some stuff on the internet and settin' out. And sometimes I feel that 62 is gettin' old to start off on big new adventures. But, if I could find somebody I knew/trusted/had confidence in, though, THAT would make a huge difference. Maybe if I open the door, someone will walk through. Thanks, James P.S. I'm in north Georgia :-)

Well, James, I taught myself from a book and whenever I ran into a question that had to be answered before I safely continued, I researched until I found it. I would have liked an experienced mentor, but none was available.
I certainly do understand and respect that it's your plan B. If you do go that route, the cats in our reloading section are super-knowledgeable, so many of your questions can be answered here. |

James, you can also look for 32 s&w long (ammunition to go has some), 32 s&w short or 32 acp.
