Best Current 32 S&W Long?
Choices appear to be fairly limited in 32 Long, are they all pretty similar these days?
How's the S&B wadcutter?

Right now, I would think that the "best" .32 Long ammo is whatever .32 Long ammo I could find for sale!
I have shot Federal and Winchester, probably the Federal wadcutter the most, and maybe one box of R-P, but really found all of it shot well. I have shot a small bit of S&B in other chamberings and liked it okay.
Save your empties. Handloading this round is the way to go.
Not much help, I know.

Fiocchi LWC 100 gr GZG
I found them to be a little hotter than the other brands I have shot and very accurate. But, the best part is no chamber or barrel leading.

I just bought a boatload of S&B wadcutter ammo (well, a dinghy-load) because it was all I could find. I had heard OK things about Fiocchi, but couldn't find any online retailer with good stocks.
My package arrived a few days ago, but I haven't had a chance to experiment with it yet. Maybe I'll have a chance to do so within the week.
I have a K-32 Masterpiece and an old .32 Regulation Police target model I want to test out.
"Dinghy" may be an exaggeration too. I picked up 500 rounds.

The difference is the cartidge case length, bullet weight and velocity. The .32 S&W case is shorter than the .32 Long case (.605" vs. .920"), usually has a slightly lighter bullet and about 50-75 fps less velocity.
You can shoot the .32 S&W in a .32 Long chambered gun, but not the other way around.
Sorta like the .38 Special and .357 Magnum and .44 Special and .44 Magnum.
