Federal 22 LR Auto Match
I have shot a couple of thousand rounds of this without any problems and think it is pretty good stuff. a while back I started have a lot of misfires and really weak sounds with it. it wouldn't even cycle the bolt on my Ruger 22 auto pistols and I wouldn't think of even firing them in any 22 rifle. I sent an e-mail to Federal with the lot # 1BW425. their reply was how boxes of this lot # did I have. I told them I had 2 1/2 boxes of that lot #. Federal sent me 5 boxes of replacement ammo. I think that is pretty good. I just have to get rid of the other 2 boxes of ammo. the way the weather is right now it will probably be the middle of July before I can get into the range.

I had the same experience about 6 months ago. I called Federal and only got to leave a message. In the message I explaned everything and that evening, yes evening, got a call from a nice lady at Federal and she asked how many boxes I had, I had two and told her so. She asked if I could safely get rid of the two boxes and she would replace them. I said I could and thanked her. A few days later I recieved a package from Federal that contained 4 boxes. GREAT service from Federal.

That is some great service and Federal Auto Match is very nice ammunition especially considering it's price range.
Compare your experience with mine concerning a complaint I made to Remington. Scroll down to post #12 for their response, if that's what they wish to call it; I have another word for it, but am unable to use it here. Letter to Remington - GlockPost |
Nice CS? Good Company. Good Ammo.
As a side note, anybody remember 10 or so year back to the Federal .22 target ammo with the dimpled base?? Now that was THE stuff for accuracy. Bought up every brick I could find but it's LONG gone.:-( |
Federal Auto Match is pretty good .22 ammo. Wish I could find more.
