Shot some remington 38 110 SJHP non +P today. This has to be the most accurate ammunition I ever shot in my Colt Cobra. It shot POA and very tight groups. Anyone know what the velocity is from a 2 inch, does it expand and what's the depth of penetration? The second most accurate was the federal Nyclads 125 non +P. The remington has some bark to it when shot. I kind of liked that. Anyone here use it, or tried this ammo.

I chrono-ed some of the Remington R38S16 110 grain (non +P) from a 4" M15 a couple years ago and it averaged 991 fps. Not sure about the penetration, but it is probably less than the heavier bullet weights. Hope this helps some...

I bought a case of this for $140 a couple of years ago, and it groups well from a model 64, though, if I remember correctly, it shot a little low for me for some reason, but I was having problems picking up the stainless front sight indoors, and all ammo grouped a little low for me, so next time out with this gun, I'll have to adjust my aiming.

There is some flash to it, but nothing like the WinClean BEB that I was using at the same time.

Not unusual for a fixed sight revolver. It would probably shoot 158 gr. ammo to point of aim. The lighter bullets typically impact lower.

I'm going to try some of the 158gr. stuff next time. At the time, I only had the Remington 110gr, 125gr, and 148gr, with me.

I wouldn't waste my time with those light bullets. I loaded up some 180 gr. Sierra jacketed bullets at 800 fps. and they were awesome in their performance. I don't know if you can buy them, but 158 gr.XTP's work very good and have less recoil than the 180 sil. Sierra bullets. I know some people swear by the 190 gr. SWC bullets for busting through stuff like car doors and windshields. The little 110's might be good if you were living in an apartment and you didn't want to kill your next door neighbor by mistake. My snub nose 38 shoots the lighter ones low too.

110s get picked on, but they are fine if the bullet is well designed and they shoot to POA.

Yes. The CorBon DPX has shown to be a great expander even after pentrating car doors, ect.
