Thanks for taking the time and expense !! As someone who tests and posts ammo results, I know it gets expensive.

Ditto!
Also, I'm happy to see the results of the Double Tap 357. I got a 10 shot average of 1601 from a 3.5" 27. Even though it pretty much conforms to factory specs, that number was so high, I had trouble believing it.

No sweat fellas. I hope to post some Double Tap Ammo .38 special 125 gr +P Gold Dot HP (advertised @ 1,000 fps 1 7/8"), and some Federal .45acp 230 gr +P HST (advertised @ 960 fps) before too long.

Among other things, I especially like that Mike uses real guns and not test barrels to get his velocity for all of his loads. On his website he even posts what gun was used.

shot some 45 and 10 mm double tap...this is what I got over my chrono. ave of 10 shots
45 auto 185 jhp..box says 1225 out of 5 inch barrel
shot out of 4.6 barrel glock 21 = 1119 fps
shot ouf 5 barrel 1911A1 = 1137 fps
10mm 155 jhp box says 1475 fps
shot out of 4.6 barrel glock 20 = 1387 fps
their .357 125 looks really hot. I am surpised...go to glocktalk.com and read up on double tap ammo.

Thank you for the data and the time it took to run the tests. (not to mention the price of the ammo)
