this is my 1st 9mm was wonder I see ammo listed as 9x19mm , 9mm luger or 9mm para is there a differance or is it all the same? thanks Clint

all the same ammo the luger is a 9mm pistol that uses the 9mm parabellum witch is a 9x19mm witch is 9mm

Most of U.S. folks think 'a 9 is a 9'.

Across the big waters a lot of times the 9 is a 9x18 i.e. 9mm Makarov.

There's also 9mm Kurtz that is .380 acp auto..
As stated above 9x19 , 9mm Parabellum , & 9mm Luger are all the same..
