Anyone tried .500 BVAC 350GR JHP Ammo and what do you think of it??
Found a good price on .500 BVAC (Bitterroot Valley Ammunition), 350 grain JHP Ammunition. Has anyone shot this and what how does it perform. I have a 6.5" 500 S&W ported, and I am looking for some feedback on this paticular brand.
Thanks,
460V & XVR Magnum Man I don't have any answers for your question. 460v LAC du FLAMBEAU and DavidI, I use mostly reloads of my own concoction in my JRC 500. Just wondering at what distances do you two shoot these at? Do you actually hunt with these big handguns or have you just bought yours for range shooting? I saw one of you lives in the north woods of Wisconsin in your profiles.

I purchased some from CTD before it went out of stock in Jan. This ammo have hard primer, at least 8 out of 20 rounds required a second strike to ignited the primer. I know it is not the gun because I am able to shoot Hornady, HSM, COP and Ultramax without any problem.
