PRVI Partisan .38spl
Midway has this for 14.01 per box, and I ordered 5 boxes. Is it any good? Has anyone chronographed it? THANX in advance for your replies.

Looks like one of the better prices around for .38s.
Never used their .38 ammo, but I've shot their .32 ACP.
Quality product and it shoots well. Maybe snappier than you'd expect.

I have not shot their .38 load, but I've had really good luck with Prvi ammunition. Even their match ammo is truly match grade and excellent in quality. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

prvi Partizan ammo...do you like it?
I have never used the .38 Special but I would not be afraid at all of having purchased it. I have use their 7.65 Belgian in a Argentine Cavalry Carbine and it performed good. In fact Hornady buys their brass from Prvi for Hornadys own Metric Rifle caliber line of ammo. The Hornady does shoot better though but not by much. The Hornady bullet is superior in my own opinion. The story gets better with Prvis .222 Remington it outshot Remingtons own .222 Rem ammo. I had only 50 yards but the Prvi made nice little 3/8" groups. Them rem managed about 1" at 50 yds. I say live it up and enjoy the product.

I'll echo the replies of the others in that while I have not shot any of their .38spl I have fired some of their other loads and was very pleased with the high quality. I would buy with confidence.

I bought 1,000 of it last year 158 RNL. I like it a lot. For me out of my Mdl 14 it is better than Rem-Umc or Federal American Eagle. Easily puts 5 rounds into 1 1/2 @25 yds off a rest, for me that is good through my trifocals. Reloads just as easily as any other brand of brass.
Haven't chronographed it,felt recoil about the same as Rem. or Fed. that I shoot. Decent price these days also.

Found a box of this I bought last year and was chronoing some rnds today, so I ran a couple of rnds thru my 4in 15, 740 to 750fps. 3in 66 only about 10 fps less. This is the first of this ammo I have fired, and didn't realize I had it til today.

I find accuracy testing at 12 yards to be worthless. Accuracy testing at 25 yards has some merit. I would really like to see accuracy testing at 50 yards from a machine rest with a good target revolver.
That being said, his tests show that the ammo went bang every time and the revolver functioned fine.

Never tried any Prvi Partisan .38 spl, but the 6.5 swede stuff is great in my m96. Good brass.
