Default Remington's 180 gr. sjhp

Too much for home defense? I think they'll work well. I'm still in the process of selecting a load for my ssr so I'm not committed yet...anyone know if I can get some 200gr. swchp? I like the fatties. Btw I put some three year old Remington 158gr. p&r though it today, no good. They where sticking in the charge holes, case swell I think.
